Breeding Guidelines
November 6, 2006 02:21:53 AM

Updated: Nov. 6th 2006

All breedings are private.
What does that mean? It means you must be on my trusted breeder's list to get one. Its unfortunate that I have to do this, but I'm tired of having the offspring of my horses sold, resold, rescued, neglected and overbred. If you're not on my trusted breeders list, then I'm sorry - no dice.

You may still get on my breeding list however, IF your breeding practices are sound (at least as strict as my own) and I know you to be a responsible breeder/player. Please GM me to be accepted to my trusted breeders list.

Anyway, the following are my breeding guidelines. I say guidelines, because I understand that life gets in the way and I will make exceptions from time to time.

1) My horses will not be available for outside breedings until age 17. You may book a breeding at any point during the horse's life, but it will not be carried out until they hit 17+.

2) None of my rare breed horses will have more than three offspring, common breeds will have no more than five.

3) If you've got a collection of poorly cared for and dying horses, I will decline your request.

4) Your horses must be shown semi-regularly. I understand life gets in the way, but I don't want one of my foals rotting away on your account either.

5) Please GM me BEFORE you hit that 'request breeding' button. Please be sure and include the name of the horse you'd like to breed to, and the name of your horse involved so I can check him or her out.

6) No inbred/overbred horses. For clarification's sake, I consider rare breeds with more than 3 foals max. overbred, and common breeds with over 5.

7) Your horse must be over at least rank 30 for me to consider.

That's just about all I can think of for now.
Cheers!
~Wormwood
