• The main account page is usually the first place a member goes to buy a horse. The more experienced players call this horse a "Founded" or "Created" horse because it has no definable parents.

• You must have enough money in your bank account to be able to buy certain breeds. Many breeds cost up to $50,000, and the new player only gets $25,000. It's best to buy a "cheaper" breed like the Arabian, Thoroughbred, or Quarter Horse until you know the "ins and outs" of the game.

• All breeds are available from ages 0 (zero) to age 10 and can be bought with a maximum of 100 points (automatically giving the horse a rank of 1), and a maximum rank of 6 (increasing the amount of money a player must pay for that horse).

• All colors are available, and both genders are available.

Blue Ribbon stables have more colors available:

Gray,
Roan,
Palomino,
Blue Roan,
Chestnut,
Bay,
Buckskin,
Dark Bay,
Dark Chestnut,
Dark Buckskin,

Large and Medium stables have only these:

• A member with credits will sometimes "Credit Found" a horse. They will choose the breed, gender, color, age, point value if wanted and rank if wanted and choose the amount of credits he/she wants to use.

1 credit gets a C circuit horse
5 credits gets a Low B circuit horse
15 credits gets a High B circuit horse
25 credits gets an A/GP circuit horse
50 credits gets a GP/Oly circuit horse

• Credit Founded horses usually gain circuits faster than that of non-credit founded horses.
