Being a Caretaker

As of June 2010, the caretaker button works! Any horse on the stable account may be added to the Caretaker's list.

This allows the stable owner to Feed, Groom, Vet, and Farrier any horse that needs it. White boxes show when the horse needs something from one of those four fields, and if a horse doesn't need to be taken care of, or all the chores have been done, then the box is filled with a color. Like this:

Any account can have their horses to be taken care of by someone. NON-upgraded members must find a stable owner and request that player to take care of their horses. As of 1/28/11, the "Request All" button doesn't work, so the player must ask for each individual horse.

Stable owners just go to their stable, then caretakers link, then click the link "Would you like to add all your horses?" to add any new horses on their account.

It's best to GM the stable owner to make sure they are willing to put more horses on their caretakers. A simple, "Would you mind if I requested you to take care of my horses on your caretakers?" or something similar.

Once a stable owner has accepted or declined your horse(s), an automated GM will be sent allowing the person who'd requested caretaker services to know that the stable member has accepted or declined.

If a stable owner has "kicked out" someone's horses from their caretaker sevices, an automatic game GM has been sent. Often the stable member forgets that the GM is sent.
