Clubs
From HelpWiki
There is one main reason to join a club on WOSE, and that is to have FUN!
Joining a club is fun because in a club you have a seperate message boards where only club members can view and post. This makes it much easier to talk to people without having to surf through lots of different topics on the general message boards.
Club shows are also a great thing about joining a club. All club shows give twice the points for the given grade level. i.e. C Circuit stable shows give 30 points, so club shows give 60 points.
You do not have to own a WOSE horse to join a club, and you do not have to own the breed of horse that the club represents. You can only be a member of one club at a time, but you can register your eligible horses with clubs that you are not a member of. (The value of registered horses does not change.)
Club points are what you get when you enter your horses in club shows. You do not get noticeable points from posting on the message boards; one or two at the most. Entering the club shows are what really bring in the points; posting on the boards frequently only helps you keep your points high.
What do club points do? They help you get higher placings in the member rankings section of the club's main page. There are two Presidents, upgraded members who run club shows, contests, etc. There are two Vice-Presidents, non-upgraded members who, quite frankly, don't do anything unless both of the Presidents are unable to keep up with the club for whatever reason.
