Put Down
From HelpWiki
WOSE General Information
Putting Down a horse, or giving it early retirement as it is labeled on the vets page essentially deletes the horse from the game. A horse that is retired early will not show up on the game. Any links to the horse through the game, such as from a pedigree of a foal or from any award the horse has received will show the horses name as deceased. Clicking on a link to that horse will bring up a game error page.
How to Put Down a Horse
If you have decided that you want to put your horse down, go to your account page, and click the horse's name. From the horse's page click Vet on the left hand side, which will load several treatment options that the WOS Vet can preform on your horse. The very last option, early retirement, will put your horse down. There is no way to bring back a horse who has been put down.
If you want to save your horses information you have to retire it when it turns 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, or 25 by clicking the "Save Pedigree" button. Chosing to not save the horse's pedigree is the same as putting the horse down. Horses die automatically and show up as if they were put down at the age of 30.
- As of June 2010, Jade has re-written the WOSE game that NO horses may be put down unless they are older than 15. This makes sure that there are no "Early Retirement" Accounts any more.
