Race
From HelpWiki
On racing there are various different types of races depending on the breeds.
There are:
-Arab races
-Quarter Horse races
-Thoroughbred flat races
-Thoroughbred Steeplechase races
-Standardbred races
-French Trotter races
-Orvlo Trotter races
Each type of race is designed for those certain breeds.
Alongside the races there are various different grades of races, eg. a Grade 3 Thoroughbred flat race, Time Trial Arab race.
Each horse is a different grade and can only run in races corresponding to the horses breed and grade.
A horses grade can go up depending on how well it races, but this is a random but everyday event.
To enter races a horse must be over 2 years old and under 9 years old. Its first race is always a Maiden/Time Trial race.
A horse must also have a trainer and a jockey to run in races.
Races are made by racetrack owners, and are not automatically made.
Members can request races by asking a racetrack owner.
Races can also be between a distance of 6 furlongs and 16 furlongs. Racetracks also have racing conditions such as fast, normal, muddy and slow.
Each horse has its own preferences to distance and conditions.
To enter a race, go to races on your account page, then search for a relevent race eg. Grade 3 Quarter Horse. Then try and find one that your horse will like.
A race can have a maximum of 8 entries and also needs to have a minimum of 3 entries to run.
Prize money is given to horses who come in the top 4 placings.
