Getting Started

In the Racing section you pick from one of three points of view (POV). You can choose to either be a stable owner, jockey or trainer.

Stable Owners

Once you've created your account you'll need to do a few things.

  • Become familiar with navigation - there are four buttons across the top of each page and a few buttons down the right hand side of the page.
  • Buy a horse - what's a horse game without a horse?
  • Assign staff to your horses - once you've hired a jockey and trainer you need to assign them horses to take care of. You can have multiple trainers and jockeys working for you.
  • Pick a vet - vets have certain times that they're open, experience levels and prices.
  • Pick a farrier - farriers have certain times that they're open, experience levels and prices.
  • Care for your horse - horses that are groomed do better in shows
  • Enter your horse in a race - once your horse has a vet, farrier, jockey and trainer you're ready to enter it into it's first race. The dates and times that races run are posted on the racing page. Typically you can find a race that's running every other hour.
  • Check your race results - once the race runs you can view your horse's recent race results to see how well it did. With more training and some adjustments you might have a real winner on your hands.
  • Now you've gotten the hang of the basics, but there's lots more to do!

Jockeys

  • Become familiar with navigation - there are four buttons across the top of each page and a few buttons down the right hand side of the page.
  • Create your jockey - decide how you look and if you're a male or female jockey.
  • Get a job - you have to get hired by a stable owner before you can be assigned to horses and start riding them.
  • Buy some food - you'll need to eat in order to keep at optimum weight, and you also need ingredients for cooking.
  • Learn to cook - the more you cook the more recipes you'll discover and the better things you can make.
  • Start exercising - increase your performance at the track by conditioning your body and your mind.
  • Ask to get paid - you have to request money from your employer, especially if you're winning races.

Trainers

  • Become familiar with navigation - there are four buttons across the top of each page and a few buttons down the right hand side of the page.
  • Get a job - you have to get hired by a stable owner before you can be assigned to horses and start training and caring for them.
  • Buy some supplies - these will help you take care of the horses you're responsible for.
  • Care for your boss's horses - make sure they have food, water and a clean stall.
  • Train horses - can you figure out which track conditions each horse runs the best in?
  • Ask to get paid - you have to request money from your employer, especially if you're winning races.

Learning To Play

Here are some things you should try to do in order to learn how to play.
