Rider Settings

Every horse has certain ways to be ridden per event based on it's personality.  You can find these settings by asking a stable owner for a riding lesson.  Always send a message if you want to send a lesson request!  Stable owners get no notification and your request may go unnoticed, losing you valuable show time and the money you paid for the fee.  Also, sometimes stable owners can have other lessons waiting, and as only one can work at a time, it's best to message beforehand so they can clean out their waiting lessons.

Show settings are the eight drop-down menus on the show page, and is “how the horse is ridden in the show.” All settings are automatically set on one (1) and can be manipulated by clicking on the drop-down menu and chosen by clicking on the preferred word.
Cyber-you shows the horse according to the settings. Show settings are determined by the personality and event of the horse. Show settings can be obtained by an experienced player, but should be checked by taking a lesson also. Not all players have correct settings; incorrect settings will result in low placings in shows.

Many players place the show settings in their horse's name like this (Rotten Apple CPL 23111133) so as to not forget the show setting. Rotten Apple is the horse's name, CPL means the horse is in C Circuit Pleasure, and the numbers represent the show settings.

The easiest setting is All-around, Bomb-proof, Eager-to-please, Kind-hearted, Reliable PL 23111133. The personalities are in bold, the event is Pleasure, and the setting is the number. Using this setting in the eight drop-down menus goes as follows: The horse with the personality listed above is chosen. Of the drop-down menus following, the second choice/word in the first window is chosen. In the second window, the third choice/word is chosen. The next four windows are left alone because they are automatically set on choice one. The third choice/word is chosen in the last two windows.
