Selling A Horse

by MIntie (#1985)

These are the steps to sell a horse.

1) Go to the horse's page you want to sell.

2) Find the selling section near the bottom, select sale or auction, and enter the price.

3) Click the button and the horse will be for sale.

You may have to edit the horse's price often to keep up with supply and demand. Many horses as of February 21 are going for below $30,000. Time Trials are as low as $500-$1,000.

A simple price guide for today's WOSR economy includes:

Time Trials (TT) is $500 to $2,000

Starter Races (SR) is $2,000 to $4,000

Starter Allowance Races (SAR) is $5,000 to $7,500

Allowance (A) is $7,500 to $12,000

Grade Three (GIII) is $12,500 to $17,500

Grade Two (GII) is $20,000 to $25,000

Grade One (GI) is $25,000 to $35,000

International (INT) is $40,000 and above.

  • Keep in mind this was written by a Thoroughbred breeder. This may not include Quarter Horses, Arabians, and Trotters.
  • Trotters seem to be going for way more today. A SAR horse could go for the price of a Thoroughbred International.
